| Hi hi all!
¤ I know I promised to give you some content
in these newsletters, but I have to admit that this one
does NOT contain any audio or video links. This one has
some news in it about the site and HIM, but is really just
a test for future reference, so if something is fucked up,
its just a test.
The current host does not allow me to post audio or video
content, but fear not, the site IS moving next month. The
change will be a lot more subtle than the move we made in
June. You wont even notice it, except that well
have media again.
Also, well be adding a "Fakes" section
(actual name of section still pending
any ideas?),
which will expose all of the fake HIM CDs and stuff going
around on eBay so that you, the consumer, dont get
ripped off or support those that make fake shit. It doesnt
help the band any, just some douchebag.
¤ Now for some HIM news:
It turns out that Love Metal will NOT be released
in the US this September. Instead, Deep Shadows and Brilliant
Highlights will be released. The reason? I have no clue;
but you can expect to find the normal 10 track CD out on
US shelves sometime in September.
Love Metal will be released in 2005, though Im
not sure when.
¤ For those of you who use iTunes, they now
carry And Love Said Noand Greatest Lovesongs Vol.
666 in addition to Razorblade Romance
¤ And now, for the final bit of news.
There was a rumor going around that HIM signed a new contract
with Warner. I dont like posting rumors, so I never
touched on this subject, but so many of you have asked that
Ill talk about it here.
Universal and Jimmy Franks Recording Company still owns
the rights to everything HIM have available right now. So,
even if they have signed a new contract (which is not the
case yet, at least not that Im aware of) Universal
and JFRC will be the ones to put out records in the US.
Of course, they could always sell the rights, but thats
another story in itself.
Theres more to the story, but I cant elaborate
on that. Its all stupid he-said, she-said shit anyway;
which is why I stay away from rumors like this.
¤ Anyway, that'll do it for this test edition
of the newsletter. I doubt it was everything you thought
it would be
and Im sorry to have disappointed
you, but you can always unsubscribe by sending an e-mail
to me.
Don't send any other e-mail there, it'll get bounced. Dont
change the subject line, either...it'll get bounced.
